NEET-2020 Answer Key
The NEET (UG) – 2020 has been conducted throughout the country on 13 September 2020. National Testing Agency is now uploading the Advance Answer Keys for candidates for all the sets for their information.

Important Note:
I. Each question carries 04 (four) marks.
II. For each correct answer/best option, candidate will get 04 (four) marks.
III. For each incorrect answer, 01(one) mark will be deducted from the total score.
IV. To answer a question, the candidate has to find, for each question, the correct answer/ best option.
V. However, after the process of challenge of key, if more than one option is found to be correct then all/any one of the
multiple correct/best options marked will be given four marks (+4). Any incorrect option marked will be given minus one
mark (-1). Unanswered/Unattempted questions will be given no marks. In case, a question is dropped/ ignored, all
candidates will be given four marks(+4) irrespective of the fact whether the question has been attempted or not attempted
by the candidate.

Mode of Examination
NEET exam is a Pen & Paper based test, to be answered on the specially designed machine gradable sheet using Ball Point Pen.

Duration of Test
The duration of the NEET test would be three (03) hours.

Medium of the Question Papers:
Candidates can opt for Question Paper in any one of the following 11 languages.

English Hindi Assamese
Bengali Gujarati Kannada
Marathi Odia Tamil
Urdu Telugu

Syllabus for the Test
The Question for the test shall be based on a Common Syllabus notified by the Medical Council of India. It is also available at www.mciindia.org.

Eligibility to appear in NEET

Eligibility for appearing in NEET (UG) is as per related Regulations is as follows:
i. He/she has completed age of 17 years at the time of admission or will complete that age on or before 31 December of the year of his/her admission to the first year Undergraduate Medical Courses.
ii. The upper age limit for NEET is 25 years as on the date of examination with relaxation of 5 years for the candidates belonging to SC/ST/OBC-NCL category and Persons With Disabilities (PwD) Candidates.
iii. Indian Citizens/ Overseas Citizens of India intending to pursue Undergraduate Medical Courses from a foreign Medical/ Dental Institute also need to qualify NEET. For More Details Click Here
